Taking pictures of you, as the light came through

(Coat -Dorothy Perkins, Trousers -Urban Outfitters)

Alyna:

Well, the weather has actually been slowly improving... you can see we're not getting blown away by the wind, but it still is bloody freezing. I am so sick of this cold weather, don't get me wrong I love layering up clothing as gives a overall quirky look to a casual outfit, but I NEED some sun in my life. Going against the monochromatic trend, I thought I would add subtle uses of warm colours in my outfit with my high waisted green flared trousers and maroon fur coat - to compliment each other while wearing my black crop top which revealed a small amount of skin.

Caitlin:

The sun in the mornings actually gives me some motivation to get up, although the piling amount of college work makes me want lay there for ever... ahhh.  As simple as it is, I actually quite like this outfit. The white shirt and black jeans and jacket give a nod to the monochrome trend - and well, I can't have an outfit without some sort of scarf!! I like all the red shades that have come together, the nails, the tartan and my developing obsession with lipstick. The sun was shining in the photos, but I can assure you it was still very, very cold. However, is this an excuse for a new summer wardrobe?!

Yes, I like stormy weather from my window sill

 ( Jeans -New Look, Scarf -H&M )

 Caitlin:

It was still cold and still windy when i woke up, bright and early ready for college, but still I wasn't very motivated when dressing and kind of just chucked on anything that looked comfortable. I wore my boyfriend jeans with the pretty standard combo of boots and leather jacket - but everything is made slightly more exiting with the bit of sparkle in the jumper, and the (unintentional) amount of red.

Alyna:

As you can probably tell from the photos that it was extremely windy today, my hair looks even more wilder than usual if thats even possible but I thought it would be appropriate to wear my black knitted jumper. To contrast with my jumper I wore my light pastel blue high waisted jeans with my cut out leather boots to give a visually dramatic look with the use of colours.

since I last saw you I fell down the rabbit hole

Jumper -Primark, Necklace -River Island, Jacket -Zara, Jeans -New Look, Shoes -Next

Caitlin:
Today was that horrible day,the one where you have to set the alarm in the morning again and wake up even before the birds, then to drag yourself pretty much totally asleep through the cold to endure an exciting full day of lessons. Yay!
The stupid time I woke up and my lack of motivation for what lay during the day ahead, I ended up in this outfit, looking very... casual. And random.
It wasn't until we took the photos that I realised I looked like some american kindergartener, I could blend in very well with the cast of Matilda probably - pigtails and then i'm sorted (and if I was about 3ft shorter). The american mom style jeans (or boyfriend jeans)and shoes that I was told by my sister 'look like what I used to wear to school when I was 5' (though the cutesy-ness is toughed by the studs, couldn't wear them in year R).Today I was even told i looked cute.Wow, a first. I'm wearing just a black jumper, the check scarf was to add a bit of colour as well as preventing against the extreme cold. Summer needs to come soon!
Despite all that I actually quite like this outfit, I don't really know why.

It's probably the early morning as to why I look so unimpressed, also I just thought i'd say brightening up the atmosphere of the pictures is the wonderfully inspiring, artistic background courtesy of our lovely college. Isn't it just so happy! Well, anyway it does the trick.

Off to think happier thoughts and prepare for an exciting day tomorrow!!

Alyna:
So first day back to college after having a pretty lazy half term and i must admit , i was not looking forward to getting up at 6:30 so today i was going for more a simple  yet elegant look.

I decided to wear my vintage knitted  jumper with my black skinny jeans with my light maroon camel coat and black faux fur to achieve a feminine look and create a visual texture.
