Yes, I like stormy weather from my window sill

It was still cold and still windy when i woke up, bright and early ready for college, but still I wasn't very motivated when dressing and kind of just chucked on anything that looked comfortable. I wore my boyfriend jeans with the pretty standard combo of boots and leather jacket - but everything is made slightly more exiting with the bit of sparkle in the jumper, and the (unintentional) amount of red.

Alyna:

 As you can probably tell from the photos that it was extremely windy today, my hair looks even more wilder than usual if thats even possible but I thought it would be appropriate to wear my black knitted jumper. To contrast with my jumper I wore my light pastel blue high waisted jeans with my cut out leather boots to give a visually dramatic look with the use of colours.

Alyna:

British weather is seriously confusing when deciding what to wear! Today you may be fooled by the photos as it looks relatively warm ... But it was freezing !! And actually snowed the day before. However, I chose to wear my grey knitted jumper to go with my monochromic print trousers and maroon camel Coat with fur.

It was kind of just a bit windy - just a bit, the majority of the time I couldn't see as my (mane of) hair was flying everywhere... but yeah, just a bit windy. Although it's quite a fair bit through March and official spring is only a fortnight away, it's snowing.Yay?
It causes havoc when deciding what to wear, as it is freezing but the sun is hot, what to do? Because carrying round a massive coat is just annoying.
But, anyway I chose to wear a big coat (car coat).Not that you can really see, but apart from staple black jeans and boots, I wore a shirt which actually had the top button undone for once with a nice, chunky, statement bit of neck bling. I had a cardigan on too for practicality purposes but still i was freezing.
Where is summer?!

chasing rubies, chasing gold

I promise you that Alyna and I didn't purposely coordinate our outfits - it's not a weekly Tartan Trouser Thursday tradition or anything.

 When i first bought these trousers I thought they were kind of crazy, but now they seem a bit tame - I want some neon! However, I still played it quite safely, just pairing them with a plain shirt and a statement chunky chain. And obviously, i had to through in my fave black studded boots (don't think I could live without them) and relatively unneeded trusty jacket because look, it's sunny!

Today I decided to wear my furred maroon camel coat with my dark blue checker pattern trousers and gold chained necklace from Topshop. I felt like I should be more colourful when choosing my outfit choice, since i pretty much stick with darks colours which consist of blacks, blacks and more black .... Ohh maybe a hint of red now and then. But this outfit is a slow step forward.

A quick chat today, places to be. My outfit is rather inappropriate for the current weather, it was absolutely freezing taking these photos!! I'm wearing a playsuit that I had much deliberation over when buying but im glad as i really like it now, especially the whole pinafore thing (yes i know, shorts in winter= crazy). It all very monochrome with the neon splashes adding a bit of colour.

Today was an extremely cold day and I decided to wear an midi dress, why you may ask? Well, because I'm seeing Jake freaking Bugg later for which this will be appropriate and I won't be too hot. I decided to wear my statement gold necklace to create a focal point for my outfit, with the contrast colours draw attention to the upper body. To finish this all off I wore a classic camel coat and leather studded gloves to give a modern gothic look to a classic style outfit.
